I've never seen a frozen pizza that needed to be thawed before cooking. In fact, most specifically say in the directions "Do not thaw before cooking."

Just preheat the oven and throw the damn thing in there. Next time, don't buy such picky ass frewfew frozen pizza. Buy the $.99 Tostinos; you can cook those by putting them out in the sun or under a light bulb. :D

ftw

OR, he could make up a really complicated story; like he was going to throw it in the oven, but then something happened and the police came or something. Of course, for maximum effect, he'd have to not finish the story and leave everyone hanging.

I bought a pizza at costco a few months ago, and froze it.. one day I pulled it out and put it in the oven.. the sucker would never cook all the way through, it started burning.

turns out it said "thaw before cooking" :)

Was a "soy cheese" pizza,.and it wasn't cheap: $5 for 11oz.

That said, I've never seen another frozen pizza (soy or otherwise) that came in a box that needed thawing.

Damn you LACTOSE INTOLLERANCE!!!

California PIzza Kitchen (the kind you get from a grocery store freezer) says do NOT thaw before cooking.

You don't have to (or rather aren't suppose to) thaw Dijourno (sp?)... plus it tastes like fvcking heaven. Mmmmm... pizza. Love the Three-Meat... and the crust.

All the major brands of pizza(Red baron, tombstone, diGiorno, freshetta, jacks, and tony's) are put into the oven frozen, no idea what you found that you thaw first.

I've had a few frozen pizzas that recommend being thawed. If you cook them frozen, they get burnt on the outside before being cooked through.

I've got this nifty thing in my house that agitates water molecules by bombarding them with radio waves. I toss it in there to defrost while the oven preheats.

Considering most frozen pizzas take 15-20 minutes, the pizzas that had to be cooked thawed needed only 5-8 minutes in the oven + 3 minutes to thaw in the microwave. 1 extra step means half the time!

Did you ever stop to think about the name of that device you use? Is it "Micro"wave, or is it called "Radio"wave?

Yes, but if I used a more correct term like "electromagnetic radiation," it wouldn't piss off our resident pedant - what fun would that be?
