Why do I have to install Adobe Flashplayer update every time I reboot XP?

It seems like every time. I usually just suspend, but when I have to reboot (e.g. Windows Updates), I'm always prompted to download and install Flashplayer update. Why????? Do they produce an update every few days?
 
Sounds strange. Updates for flash are usually every few months?

Have you tried uninstalling it completely and then doing a fresh install with the latest version?
