When I first got the M4 I was on my old rig with sata 2 ...... It would get 255mbps if I was lucky. I knew tho load ups boot time access time their the same, but for bulk copy 255mbps was nice but whatever......
Anyhow I put in my new mobo CPU and ram ,,,,,, booted right up ran the test and I get 535mbps read seq.
I was expecting like 480mbps 500mbps if I'm lucky. To my surprise I saw this. I mean not even a sammy does that, well 830 series that is.
Ive seen 538mbps as well.
I think I know why its like this, cuz my cluster size is 512k ,,,,, so its giving a performance boost on the SSD. sweet!
