Why do I have homework in physical education?

So the most kick ass PE teacher I ever had retired at the end of first semester, and now we have this asshole straight outta college. He wants us to do debates and crap instead of actual PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Anyway, I'm trying to find websites that are PRO traditional PE sports/games (ie:basketball, soccer, baseball, football, etc). This would be the opposite of untraditional sports like ultimate frisbee, etc.

I tried googling for sites that were pro traditional sports, but I couldnt find any. Can anyone try and help?

I don't think thats the worst thing in the world. Why should PE classes be just playing football or field hockey? How about some lecture time on the theory of what it is. You get nutrition and exercise basics in high school health, PE would be the perfect time to explain them in action. Show what muscle groups are being exercised, learn what exercises will do, etc. At least in my high school PE was just recess from grade school except we got a grade for it.

God no! What's this world coming to when teachers stop being babysitters and act like teachers! I mean, it's not like you already know about football and baseball and basketball. I mean, if you're really so hell bent on getting your playtime back, lobby to abolish PE altogether and just let school out earlier...or extend lunch or something.
