Why do I get up early whenever I drink?

It seems that I just happen to get up early after a night of heavy drinking. It sucks, I wanna sleep in! I went to bed at 3:30 and my body woke me up at 8:30. I didnt even have to pee bad.

Sigh, oh well. I guess sleeping in will elude me once again.

dont think so. Had 1/4 a gallon of gatorade before i went out, and again when I came back, in addition to some water (I hate hangovers) so I dont think its that.

You are seriously the luckiest man in the world.

Talk about an easy getaway when you sleep with someone and never want to talk to them again.

Yea, for some reason I always wake up early after I get piss drunk. I wish I didn't, as I don't feel the greatest I've ever felt, but I can never sleep more than 4 or 5 hours afterward.

That happens to me too. Except, I'll be in bed by 2, and awake by 5. I just eat and drink something, watch a bit of TV and I can go back to sleep by 6 or 7.

I can't drink like I used to, though. Ever since I hit my late twenties (I'm 36 now) my hangovers have become intollerable and last days, not hours.

Over comsumption of alcohol creates a shallow sleep state.

this could explain it some. Bud how do others sleep 12 hours at a time when they drink, yet I only sleep 4-6 hours.

i tend to sleep like a log after i drink. sometimes i wake up early but that is the exception to the rule. then again, when i dont drink, i usually sleep like a log for as long as possible as well
