Why do I get UDMA4 and not UDMA5 on my HD?

I have a Maxtor 15 gig HD, 7200 rpm. When I boot up it says it's at UDMA4. How come it's not at UDMA5? Is there any way I could put it at UDMA5? Thanks.

what's your mobo?? Does it support ATA100?

My MB is a CUSL2 so it should support ATA100. Is there something in the BIOS or something I have to change? I'm using the ribbon that came with the hard drive.. blue one plugs into the MB, black into the back of the HD. I'm clueless.

Well it's the Maxtor 15 gig 7200 RPM, I thought that it supported ATA100?
