i just got my realmagic hollywood+ dvd decoder card and while playing dvds, the edges are all fuzzy (zig-zag'ish) and its really annoying! So my question is, is there a fix for this problem?

Quick specs list:
voodoo 3 3000
soundblaser live value
Pioneer 10x dvd (114 tray model)

Thanks :)

Are you using the video cross over cable between the decoder card and voodoo card? I had the same set up some time ago and really wasn't impressed with the video quality. Besides increasing my case temps, my graphics looked "fuzzy" and there were occasional yellow lines. Since most of my time using my comp is spent designing with graphics and text and not watching DVD's, I decided that software decoding would be just fine. I didn't really spend much time trying to trouble shoot, if anyone has a solution, I would be curious as to what it is.

I would try to run the auto calibration again and if that doesn't work you can manually calibrate it.

Well, after adjusting the borders manually, ive almost got it perfect but still the is a hint of fuzzy edges and still doesnt seem as clean as powerdvd but the colors seem stronger. (better brightness and contrast). Are there any files to make my decoder regionless 'cause ive only got 5 times until its locked, ive seem something like this but i cant remember where....lost the bookmark :( ...Otherwise, 5.1 rocks and i hope to get tv out happening soon

Thanks :)

Use Zone Selector to disable macrovision and to make it region free. It has worked for me. You can get it here

Use the Tv-out fuction when watching DVD's... you'll get much better quality than on the screen with the h+
