Why do I bother?

I went into Best Buy today. I know I shouldn't and I had a sickening feeling when I walked in. But I've been needing a new hard drive so I checked some sites and found what I wanted at BB. $100 for 60 gig. Not a great deal but... So it's $115 on the shelf with a $20 mail in rebate. I ask why it's more in the store and can they match their own web site? The guy says he's gonna as his boss. Very soon he comes back and says they can't match their own price and it's more on the shelf because of the rebate. Riiiight. So I go to Office Max, pay $100 for the same thing AND get a $20 rebate. I knew I shouldn't have wasted my time at BB.

True. But that's not the first time I've had a negative experience. I bought a washing machine and borrowed a friend's truck to pick it up. When I got home and unboxed it, it had a huge crease on the side, like something very heavy fell on it in the warehouse. I called and wanted them to bring me a new one and they refused. After going to the regional manager, I finally got them to deliver a new one. The guy who delivered it said it was obvious I couldn't have done the damage.
