This is getting annoying, my nosebleeds keep reocurring. And it's ALWAYS ONLY in my left nostril. I NEVER bleed from my right nostril. Is there something wrong here? It usually happens after i blow my nose. Could i possibly be blowing too hard?

Eightball a day coke habit??
Other than that, when you blow your nose, are you blowing out the blood clot from the previous nosebleed??

You might have something like a cyst, or it may be some sort of allergy related thing. It's probably nothing, but get it checked out if it's worrying you.

you are like me then. I bleed like a mofo also.

its due to high blood pressurue in your head and being hot. Well to me it is. Also you have a bunch of blood vessels that meet up at the top of your nose on the inside. The blood vessels there when under high blood pressure bleed. The Dr had put this thing up nose with chemicals on it to burnt the vessels and seal it up. Worked for me and I bleed less then I use to. Hurt like a b!tch though....

High blood pressure? Low humidity in your house? Maybe you have a crack in your left nostril that just won't heal. If you have a collapsed nostril like me maybe the other nostril has all the air going through it and it just dries out too quick?

you may need to have that left nostril cauterised to stop this occuring!
a blood test may also rule out something more sinster.

If you live somewhere where it's very humid, it's the heat. I had the same problem when I was younger, it seems to not happen quite as often, but I used to get nosebleeds every other week two years ago and stuff :D

I'm betting it's either high blood pressure or allergies. When I was a kid I got them sometimes because I had environmental allergies, but I have since grown out of them.

I have this exact same problem, just started happening recently. One time the nose bleed was pretty bad, like a huge glob of blood came out and the nose bleed didn't stop for over 15 minutes :(. It's hot and it wouldn't surprise me if I had high pressure in my head, seems to hurt all the time...

I've had one nosebleed in my life. Difference was, it was by getting elbowed in the nose by a kid 8 inches taller playing basketball. What a dirty kid. It was a mess. I was knocked stupid for a few minutes and I thought I had a broken nose (fortunately I didn't). It was funny though, because after I got wailed in the nose, my team mate got the ball and passed it to me - I could hardly see the ball but I shot it...barely missed, then I just left the court and went to the locker room. Didn't wait for play to stop or anything.

same problem here but when I was on vacation in tropical heat it happened everyday. Only from the left nostril also. Also when I take a shower or wash my face is when it is most prone. Doctor didn't really know what to do. The worst is if I'm surfing and I get bloody nose. I can almost feel the sharks coming. good luck I would also like to know.

nosebleeds are caused by ruptured vessels in the nose...Nose picking, dry weather, or injury can be the cause :D

I been having nosebleeds all my life since childhood. It doesn't happen often, maybe once in three months. But it does happen. It happens when I'm under stress conditions. It isn't painful and it passes quickly so I got no reason to worry.

It's all the radiation from your computer monitor. It's a sign you need to get out more often.

AWw no, that can't be it. Hehe, i have a girlfriend now, i'm out more than i should be :p I wonder if it could be high blood pressure though. But before i jump to conclusions, my house is usually kinda warm (i live in los angeles), and i found that i do tend to have nosebleeds when it's a bit warm. But i do remember one time when i was visiting SaveOns. There was a blood pressure test so i decided to give it a try. I was probably 15 at the time. I had to take that test three times before i had a "normal" blood pressure. Either something was problematic, or i was just excited over Halo (it was previewed or something like that). But then, i've also had my blood pressure taken by the doctor when i went in for a physical, and they didn't tell me anything was wrong.

I had a deviated septum. So when i grew, my nose would bleed. Now that I don't grow anymore, I don;t get nosebleeds. They used to be commonplace when I was in middleschool-highschool. It can be deviated just slightly so that it doesn;t obstruct your breathing and won;t really cause any problems except for frequent nosebleeds while growing. Might be the case . . . was in my situation.

I have had chronic nosebleeds all of my life. My doctor said it was from thin blood vessessl in the nose, anyway I am used to it. I can just be sitting there talking to someone and I feel a warm trickle, and then like a water faucet opening up. But blowing my nose hard or getting hit in the nose does it. My brother has gotten some spells recently, but that is because he is a chemist and he is exposed to some nasty sh!t. BUt for me it is just a part of everyday life, humidity changes really effect it, and I have had less of them lately, used to have a nosebleed at least twice a week now maybe every other week.
