why do guys think girls like poetry so much?

women like that share common personality traits that i have no desire for. It could be a midwest thing, but really the only girls that dig poems are either emo/scene/hipster chicks or english majors. Lose/lose situation...

I can write poetry but i don't like it . It's maybe a romantic gesture for girls to listen to guy's poem but I don't believe in romance so there you go.
