Why do guys have to sleep on the couch when their wife is mad at them?

I've never slePt on the couch. I can sleep next to her if she's mad, won't bother me. If she has a peoblem with it she can have the couch. The only way don't sleep on my bed is if I'm not home.

This is my feeling. If shes mad thats her problem not mine.

When my GF is mad she stomps around like she is trying to kill the carpet. Doesn't matter where I go to try and sleep when she's doing that because of me doing something to piss her off, I can't sleep until she she goes to bed and she is usually in bed a couple hours after me during these periods.

Why do people have to sleep together just because they're married? All you can possibly do is disturb each other's sleep. I suppose the opportunities for spontaneous sex could be appealing, but what's to stop you from sauntering over to her bed when you're horny anyway?

I was raised never go to bed angry. But my first marriage was a train wreck. I slept on the couch all the time. Not because of fighting but because ihated sleeping next to her. Snoring, bad breath, etc. Plus, my couch was so damn comfy. Now, my gf and i are 45 and 51 and even when we argue we never go to bed mad. We both snore on and off and nudge each other to stfu. Plus our bed is a dux and is amazing.

Usually it's a couple that lives in a big, expensive house. They get in a fight and he sleeps on the couch. Or they have a guest over and make up the couch.

Fortunately, the last year or so we are really getting along well. Which was a result of me telling her "fine, we can divorce and you can have the six months you need to move out of the country, but I am going to start dating as of tonight."

She made it to three months.

Unfortunately then I had multiple women all wanting to kill me. The worst part is I told them all I was still married and not sure of what would happen.

about 50% of those are still my friend at least. I really felt bad at the end when feelings got hurt and banked on promises I never said.
