Why do girls take things much more personally?

I have no idea. Us girls (my friends and I) call each other names and generally don't think anything of it (it depends on the situation). On the other hand, if a guy were to call one of my friends something she'd probably take it personally. I wouldn't, but thats just me, I think most girls are way too emotional.

In general (not the rule) women just have more emotions going on....it's fair to say that most guys care less about things....women can get really fixated on emotional related things....while guys....we get fixed on more physical things like....cars.....computers......boobs....etc...
