Why do drive names capitalize in windows explorer?

Sometimes when I open windows explorer my drive names are ALL CAPS and I don't know it kinda annoys me. I like them all lowercase. And if I rename them back they don't stay for very long... like maybe a few hours later it goes back to all caps. Why??
