Why do companies have parties with free beer...

Idea is, that its cheaper to arrange such things at weekdays. People drink less, because they have to work the next day... Doesn't work in my case though :beer: 😀

Well, that's the thing. We only had 3 hours before the bar closed. I managed to get 5 beers and dinner in that time. Then a bunch of us hung out for a while longer, so I ended up with 6 hours of sleep while having 5 beers in my system.

Soooo Sleeeepy... Trying to wake myself up.

When I worked at Tivoli, they would have them on Friday afternoon during work hours.

That might apply to me, but most of the clowns there are in by 9am and out by 4pm. :|
 
If five beers bothered you the next day you need to realize you've got a low tolerance and should probably limit drinking during the week...5 beers is not much at all ESPECIALLY with food...

My tolerance is great WHILE DRINKING. It's the lack of sleep combined with 5 Newcastles that makes the morning suck. Just sleepy tho, no headache or anything.

I'm a heavy drinker, and I know I could drink you under the table. However, if I drink 5 beers in rapid sucession and get little sleep then I will feel like ass.
 
here at my job we have what they call socials to have the different departments get to know each other and they serve beer....this is usually around 1 or 2pm in the afternoon 😛
 
well i had a party/send off lunch today and we all had beer ( i had more than i should have he he), yay to my boss 😉

yeah i always call in sick the next day. nobody could yell at me. I was the boss! heh
