Yes, many of the young ladies want to be spanked by "daddy." Sure, it's sick, but what you gonna do? :D

"And it's crap like that that gives guys a bad name."
No, it's your average guy in general that gives guys a bad name ;-)

I have ever been out with anyone who wasnt at least 10 years older. Guys my age just never floated my boat and it had nothing to do with money.

You young guys don't know this (because it is a well guarded secret), but when you turn 30, you unit grows two inches.

That is why we older guys get the chicks.

If this holds true, you shouldn't be looking for girls your own age. Go for the younger ones. Right? I mean I don't think I'm wrong here, but if you're looking for a GF, then find one younger because if you believe what the others are saying here that they like older men, well you'll always be an older man in the views of some girls.

If you're in college, go for an 18 HS girl. ;)

As far as freshman girls in high school, Kranky might be the closest in his reasons. But as (we) get older...Viper's got it.

BTW: I've never liked dating older guys.

I wouldn't have dated more than a few guys I went to school with (out of 1200+). Why? I already know how they act and I didn't like it. I felt the guys I went to high school with were immature with the exception of some of my guy friends, but those guys were more like a brother than a partner. I sought out older guys because I felt they were more mature.

Reasons why I thought the guys I went to school with was immature:

1. One guy and a few of his buddies set a "bug" (Yes, the beetle car) on fire just for the hell of it. :| Why did they do it? Because they were stupid! Someone's car broke down of the side of the road and they felt they should burn it because it was "there."

2. My buddy who was a good friend of mine always wanted to know how and what he should do to get into a girls pants. She was a virgin and broke up with him because she wanted to wait until she was married. The same guy had sex with a girl at work on the buffet table. I still have problems eating at that restaurant! I always told him he was being to immature. **He later grew up and married the virgin. Yes, she still made him wait. Good for her! He even thanked me (later on) for telling him that he was being stupid when he wanted to know how to score successfully.

3. Drugs.

4. Some guys just didn't try in school and only did what they had to. I can't stand lazy people who don't try to do their best.

5. Jerks. Some guys are jerks no later what age they are. However, older guys tend to lose their "jerkism!"

:):):)

On the other hand, college guys like HS girls because they will be available any time the guy snaps his fingers, they don't complain about the way they are treated, and they don't make demands. They'll put up with just about anything in order to maintain the advantages outlined above. So in other words, the guy can have a gf in college, and a HS girl on the side whenever he has time available.

most true. i would be dating a certain girl in my school right now, but nooo..... she is dating some college guy. o wait, he is a college dropout.:| to top that off, after meeting each other in the mall, he shows up at her house at midnight on that friday, she leaves with him, and they return at 5am. :|:| I guess that doesn't follow the rules of more stable, dammit. i'm better than that. I am a grade higher than she, so mabe that will help in the furture when she is not going out with this other guy.

When I got to college, my maturity level dropped so much. :) In high school I had to prove to my parents that I was mature and could go do stuff, now that i'm 3 hours away at college, I stay out drinking till 7am on school nights and anything else I feel like. :)

And yes, i'm one of those college guys messing around with high school girls. When I was in high school, they never liked me, but now that i'm in college, i'm hot sh!t? I don't get it, but i'll take the free a$$. :)

i don't think it's a "phenomenon"... it's just that the grass is always greener... when you're 30+ you'll be like "man why am i stuck w/ all the old chicks while the HS/college guys are bangin all the hot young ones"...

each person is diff- if girls think older guys are more "mature" they need only come to ATOT to refute that... there are mature teenagers here and immature middle-aged men... and vice-versa of course...

I'm starting a home for runaway 18+ year old girls. They need the guidance a slightly over 30 guy can provide. :D

Or should the thread be
"Why do older guys date young chicks?"
It ain't maturity. The most immature women I know date older men. It ain't money. These same women date house painters. It ain't anything but "glamour". It sounds cool to date a guy who is more "sophisticated" (choke), or "mature" (gag), or "knows what he wants from life" (yea, that young chick and a big screen TV).

Tards. Date your own age. Your in the same stage in life and understand each other the best. Plus, neither of you have done that stage in life before, so its still new.

Take me for instance, my girlfriend is 13 years old. Ooops!

<< 1) Money
2) Security
3) Maturity

Not necessarily in that order.
>>

Well let's see. I'm 33, loaded with money, have a very secure job (12+ years), and in my opinion about as mature as anyone out there. And I can't get any girl to go out with me, let alone the younger ones. Don't get too brainwashed into thinking younger women dig older men just for the reasons stated above (however, they are valid reasons). In my opinon (or in my case), it has more to do with:

1) Personality
2) Physical attractiveness
3) Self-esteem and confidence
4) Social life
5) Active lifestyle

Usually, older men have developed these key traits along with the others listed above. The most important one, however, #3 - self-esteem and confidence (which for 33 years I've been trying to discover). Without it, you can forget about forming any type of meaningful relationship at any age group. People don't want to be around other people who lack self-confidence.
