First at 14 and 15 years old this is pretty easy to 'promise' for most. However; by the time they have traveled all over the world and been presented with propositions from people they only dreamed they'd ever even meet...it becomes laughable.

I am sure it has a lot of influence on parents for it to be so big now, but these are the same parents dressing up their kids like thugs and promiscous women and then wonder why they get pregnant or arrested.

We have very wealthy kids here getting boob jobs and tramp stamps at 13 even. It's insane, at the same time they all go to church as a family every sunday.

I don't get it. I think sex is going to happen and it's up to each person to decide when...but I think it being linked to marriage only is what has caused us much of our problems.

Earnest Borgnine did all the time...after the scandal with Phyllis Diller...he was a mess.

I would assume it's all P.R. related and a poor attempt to turn some of these girls into role models after they've already whored them out. Too little too late I suppose.

Boob jobs at 13? Aren't they not supposed to do them if they're not fully developed?

I don't think it's that easy. I think most people lose their virginity at about 15 or 16. Of course since they they don't actually keep their promise I guess it's an easy one to make.

the median is 17 to 19, with females being a bit younger on average than males.
