why do brits think they're all that?

This is something i've noticed... I have alot of realtives that are from england (desis)... and whenever they come here... they think they're God's gift to women.

All of them claim that every women wants them that she looks at them fantasizes about them.. yadda yadda...

I don't get it... I mean they are NOT getting any play... they are not outta' the ordinary... as a matter of fact i'd go as far to say they are pretty "blah."

Not to mention... what the hell is up with the ultra right pants... is this some euro fashion? Their crap is so tight i'm suprised they haven't lost all sensation in their legs...

Oh yeah, they also always talk about how their dance skills would bring a club to a grinding halt because everyone would be in utter admiration of their ablities.

Doesnt matter, in the middle of summer in iceland it doesnt get dark at all, still I´m white as a ghost

I live in England and can honestly say that most people are not like that. As with every country, with varying degrees of vanity, you always get people that act in this fashion. You have been unlucky and have some of them in your extended family, for that i'm sorry, but there's not a lot you can do about it..

If people are only worried about how their dance skills are or what are the lattest fashions, then that shows how shallow some people can be. It's a worrying trend on society that when people don't have to worry about things like getting there next meal, finding somewhere to stay for the night, they are finding other, more mundane, things to worry themselves about.

Gladly we are not all like this..

I'm English and most of the people I know are not at all like the people you know. Obviously in any country you will get some people who think they're all that but the majority will just be normal people. It sounds as though you are unfortunate in the brits you know
and ultra tight pants, WTF I have never seen anyone in really tight pants - maybe that's what makes them so irresistible to women
As for the sun thing, at the minute the sun rises about 5:30 am, sets at 9pm but in that time we don't seem to get much actual sunshine.
At the minute it is dull and overcast and looks like it is going to rain anytime soon.

There seem to be quite a few people from quite a few nations that dislike our country. There also are, if you think about it, quite a few people from the U.S. who think quite a bit too highly of their own country (I'm from the US too), to such a degree as to be considered stupid(the same people who chant USA USA USA USA at some sporting event). When we go and bomb people and invade countries, send major amounts of money to unpopular countries (ahem..), someone somewhere is going to not like us for doing it. There seems to be this mythology that everything the US does it perfect and everybody loves us except when it's politically expedient and then they're &quot;just pretending&quot; for the cameras. We should try to make more friends and not more enemies...

And then of course, there are the wackos that blame us when we *don't* do something.
