i dont really trust the police all the time either. they do not always seem to be there to protect your best interests.

my ex roomate of 3 years is black. he was from orange county (land of 8 billion white people) and well he doesnt trust cops. his mom let him borrow her navigator before and he was stopped for driving while black. that made him quite mad.

anyhow, the question i have is, i'm not saying all white people are like this, far from it. but why are some white people afraid of people who arent white. i used to work in orange county myself. granted i am chinese filipino and have a very very short haircut (1/8" long all around more or less) but i walked into a chinese fast food place, and the minute i walk in a white woman grabs her purse from the counter like i'm going to rob her.

at the time i was a swing shift database server operator. and really , that basically ruined my night. thing is i figure if i was a white guy with an 1/8" all around buzzcut, which isnt exactly an uncommon haircut i figure she wouldnt have even moved.

Add total amount of money spent on child by their parents to all figures and come back to me with an answer.

What does that have to do with anything?

If a kid is being brought up and having his parents spend lots of money to send him to camps, fund their sports and hobbies, feed them more expensive and nutricious oofds, afford better preschool etc... then the kid is setup to achieve more than a kid who is ignored because their parents have to work all the time at lowpaying jobs.
I'd love to hear your retort.
I'd love to run you over. Then back up and do it again. Unfortunely we can't always get everything we want.

If you think it requires money to love your child, and make them feel loved, then you're a sad excuse for a human being and hope you never have children.

If you honestly do not see how working less hours, having more money to spend on things that will stimulate your childs brain, and being able to afford better childcare benefits a child then I'm better off not arguing with you.
Considering I am working about 30 hours a week afterschool in the worst part of Boston helping develop homework and literacy skills with 11-12 year olds who are almost entirely black and/or hispanic, it is quite clear to me that there is numerous benefits I recieved growing up in the rich suburbs that had soley to do with my economic status. I was able to get stacks and stacks of books, kids videos, had a mom who didn't work and could be on call for anything I needed, afforded expensive and well run daycare at a church across the street, had a big back yard with blossoming trees and a green grass for my dog to run around on.
A kid living in a slum has the 7-11, his TV, and could never have his brain expanded by the nourishing environement of a white middle-upper class child.

Wow, no one has mentioned slavery yet? That's a helluva thing, to know that you probably had an ancestor that once picked cotton for white landowners.
Hey, you're from Orange County. Where?

Black people distrust police because of two things:
1. Black people commit crime.
2. Police abuse their authority.

You will only understand this if you are black. I'm sick of white people thinking they can understand this... because you cant. You have no idea what it's like to be harrassed by cops. I was walking in a store and a manager stopped me, called the cops, and the cop proceded to search my persons entirely. They cop groped my penis in front of the entire store. I politely told them I was just shopping pulled out $400 in cash and then like 3 credit cards and said "why would I steal anything". I wrote down the officers badge number, filed a complaint... Wrote down the clerks number, filed a complaint and nothing happened to either.

I've been pulled over several times when I did nothing wrong... my perfect driving record can attest to that.

People lock there doors when I walk by.

My boss hates me but every single employee says I am his best employee.

I wish you could be me for a day and fvcking understand what black people go through. Open your eyes. You dont understand, dont pretend to. I hate cops.

necine, I absolutely agree with you. Most of the people here have had pleasant interactions with the police so how can anyone understand if they haven't been through it first hand. I have been pulled over twice for NO reason. I live in Cerritos where there is a prominent number of Asian gangs, and I think I pretty much look NOTHING like them besides me being asian. To them I am just another punk asian kid driving his ricer (even though I do NOT drive a tricked out car and HATE ricers). Of course I understand that not ALL cops are like this, but word needs to get out that this is happening.
