Haha I've been there when I was in Toronto a few months back, they make pretty awesome poutine.
Tilted Kilt
I don't like to drink but I go to a lot of bars around the city. Sometimes to meet friends, other times to glean information from people. What I've noticed are the strong names of these places. Here are a few.
1. The Bitter End
2. The Crime Scene
3. Death and Company
4. (Any wild animal) Head
I can't comment on those other stupid names but any called "the (insertanimalhere)'s head" are emulating English drinking establishments that date back to before most the population could read and would just hang a sign outside with a picture on.
Pretty much all pubs in England have names that are easily shown as pictures like "the rising sun" or "the masons arms". People would see the picture and when arranging where to meet would say "lets meet at the bulls head at 7".
The way kids are going now days I think it might be a good way to go back to this system as most seem to leave high school with little grasp of the English written language.

Judging from your grammar and lack of punctuation, I'd wager you're no English major yourself.

I was just at a Tilted Kilt on Friday. Did not know it was in the US as well. :hmm:
