Why do ATOTers still use pics.bbzzdd.com?

I'm not criticizing the service, it's really nice, and has always been free and I appreciate it. But these days there are much more popular, simpler image hosts like http://imgur.com that are faster, more reliable and aren't blocked at most workplaces. I know many people here can't access pics.bbzzdd.com from work.

To bad every time I try making a account I can never load pictures because of the issues with it but if your complaint is your work blocks it then you either have a sucky workplace or you are supposed to be working and not surfing the forums.

It's blocked by a couple of the major commercial filters. Mine at work says

Block reason: Forbidden Category "Intimate Apparel/Swimsuit"

And yeah I know I should be working

Probably because key words on the site indicate it is an image hosting site. A lot of filters (we have Websense at work) automatically block image hosting sites.

Mine always says it's blocked due to Pornography Filter. Nerds are fucking pathetic. Pictures of things like cars and computers = omg I must jerk off to this RIGHT NOW. So then those nerds count cars as pornography and add bbzzdd to the porn list.

It's not bad as long as you direct link the image, to many people link the crappy imageshack address instead.

imageshack now makes you login to get the direct link, which is why you see the linked version all the time now

Actually all you do is copy the image location when you right click the image, never have to login.
