Why do all the local computer stores sell that Manhattan crap?

I've always wondered why 95% of the local stores sell Manhattan products... They all seem like crap....
 
Because most people realise that a $5 Manhattan ethernet cable does every bit as well as that $35 "Belkin Gold" cable.

Not talking about the ethernet cables specifically, more tha Manhattan cases, power supplies, ethernet cards, cpu coolers, etc...
