Why do all series finale suck?

is friends over? finally eh, that show has been crap for years. At least with seinfeld the whole last season was pretty damn good except the last episode. Can't win them all I guess.
Seinfeld finale was crap. I don't know how they came up with that. It was nice to see all the supporting characters, but come on. What a poor excuse to do it.
Married With Children's problem was that it should have ended a season earlier. Remember the episode where the Dodge died? That should have been the finale.
The Friends finale was too long. I guess it wasn't so bad, though. I hadn't watched the show in years, so maybe most of the effect was lost on me.
Home Improvement... meh. Meh. Don't even know what to say about that one. Like Friends, I guess it's easy to have the characters move away.
Those other ones I never saw. I am looking forward to seeing the Frasier finale, though.

Honestly, I can't really say Seinfeld and Friends had poor finales.
Of course it is always possible for them to be funnier, but otherwise
what else do you expect but for stories to come to a closure and the
full show to come to some kind of closing.
You can't really start start whole new plots. I imagine the hardest episode to write is the series finale. I would be interested in how The Simpsons will wrap up, if that will ever happen.

I think the Seinfeld writers really did not lke the show's characters and finally punished them and stuck to the fans in the last show.
The Friends finale was a reflection on the show. Joey acted like an idiot. There was another episode of the Ross and Rachael saga. Chandler acted like a pussy. Monica exhibited her anal retentive neuroses. Phoebe acted strange. They even brought back the chicken and the duck.

Stop being too cool for pop culture. Everyone knows that it's over... even people that dont watch.
As for finales, it's definately because the writers are trying to go out in a blaze of glory. Possibly because there's a bit of emotion behind the actors knowing that this is the last one they're doing.
Seinfeld was just dumb though, a clip show for the last one was so stupid.
