Why do all previous generation Lexus ES300's have a bent front spoiler??

Have you all noticed that '93-'96 model Lexus ES300's all seem to have a bent front spoiler?? It's the small lip at the bottom front of the car. The thing is bent in a shallow "V" shape along any given portion of the spoiler. Every ES300 of that era that I have seen is afflicted with this "disease."

Probably from running them up on parking curbs. Early 80's corvettes used to suffer from the same affliction.

No, b/c Camry's don't have the same body design as the ES300. I'll try to find a picture of what I'm talking about

*EDIT* Look at this pic, that's the little spoiler that I'm talking about.

Attack of the killer curbs!!!

You see the same thing on BMW's and other cars that have a front air dam clearances of about 6" or less.

looks intentional to me... i don't see anything in the pic that looks like body damage. acura cl's, the previous model, have an air dam underneath that tends to fall off. roommate's sister took over the lease on their father's when she got her MBA, that was the first thing she complained about, the part hanging off the car.
