Why do 32gb SDHC cards cost so much...

I was looking on Amazon and the cheapest 32gb card was $122(PNY), while the cheapest 16gb card was $25(Transcend).

Why is the price difference so high? How long does it usually take for them to drop in price? I was looking to buy some 32gb ones for my pmp, but will probably be better off with the 16gb ones for now.

Anyone know where I can find 32gb ones for a decent price?

Seems like the highest density flash products always tends to be disproportionately more expensive. Wait until 64GB cards are available and the 32GB will probably fall more in line with what you'd expect (i.e. double the price of 16GB).

Looks like NewEgg has a Patriot 32GB for $100, but it's out of stock. As long as you don't mind swapping cards, though, still makes more sense to pick up 16GB cards, as you can get 64GB total for the same price as a single 32GB card.
