I was looking for a bag of nutrageous bars a few weeks ago and have checked every single time I've been back to the store since then. I remember buying a bag of these maybe 6mo-1 year ago; it doesn't make sense that they've stopped selling them.

Walmart seems to trial run a lot of products. I think they only do it when the vendor gives them a good deal. If they become popular and the vendor wants full price, they drop them. I say this because a few products I loved disappeared from their shelves shortly after I discovered them.

Man, I haven't thought about those in YEARS.

Though, I typically only have candy around Halloween. There's no way in hell I'm going to buy full-size bars and not have one myself.

That's pretty much it. There are only two ways a product will get kicked out of a major store like that and it always come down to money. Either it sells so poorly that the market would rather put something else on the shelf in its place or the manufacturer won't give them a good enough deal to make the expected profit. If Wally World can make 10 cents a bar on those or 25 cents a bar on something else, piss off Nutrageous.

Never heard of it.

But discontinued items at Walmart is my biggest frustration with shopping there. I buy pretty much the same things at Walmart - in and out - and I appreciate the fact that I'm paying 1/2 to 2/3 the price of other stores for many of them. I can still buy most items elsewhere in town when Walmart stops carrying them, but I'm not a fan of sometimes having to pay double.

People can live without those, now McDonalds getting rid of Hi C Orange, that's a travesty of epic proportions.
