I was listening to the radio last week and the intro to crazy train came on. Then the rapping started and my hopes for some heavy metal on that day faded......... :(

I still like rap. :D

Damn, I could've sworn I had Crazy Train in my playlist.

Oh well, "I Don't Know" will have to suffice. :D

Yeah I've mentioned this several times, once or twice in musically-related threads. It pisses me off that they used it as the backing but the song is tight. And I don't like a whole lot of rap, so me saying it's tight is surprising.

Yea, that's it. Not a bad song but they butchered crazy train.

What pisses me off is that they only sample that little bit over and over, instead of actually getting creative and using different all-music parts of the song.

Yea, I was going to state that as well. Ozzy or his record label has to sell them the rights to the song so he made that final decision.

Because alot of rap artists can't come up with a good riff, so they have to sample or re-use other artists riffs to get something catchy.

So basically it shows a lack of musical talent, hence the term (c)Rap music.

(yes, there are some good rap artists but too many blatantly rip off other songs)

Ozzy probably didn't even know what the fvck was going on, he figured he was just signing some papers. It's so strange to see that man in everyday life, and then to listen to his music (studio or live), makes you have to wonder how he did it.

I think it's the GTA: San Andreas commercial that has "Snoop Dog Featuring The Doors" on it. I'm curious about it, but I've never heard a remix or whatever you call it that sounds as good as the original.

The funny thing is if you see him live now he still sounds great IMHO. I haven't seen him since '02 tho so maybe he's gotten a lot worse?

Some dude in my dorm plays that song over and over every single day. It got old really quick.
