I used to be like 200 something now I'm 1.06 .

And I KNOW I didn't piss off THAT many folks!! 😉

(Not that it really MEANS anything....) 😛 Though my willy HAS gotten smaller since my rating went down... 😕

A know the 200+ was some kind of misstake, but STILL, why did I have to start over at 0?

IIRC, there was no double check to be sure a rating was between 1 and 10. Anyone could submit any number at all. OKIOS's was like -236,765.24 or something like that. You didn't have to do it at all, anyone could have done it.
 
Perhaps they should have reset all the user ratings, but at least should have reset the number of users rating you. Its pretty meaningless for you as it stands now. I would just disable it.

EDIT: I'm not the only one.

mpitts does it too, so I'm sure there must be a few others.

Seems like it may a matter of how much you have IN your profile that causes that to happen.
 
I wondered if entering in a 32 bit unsigned number (high bit set) would cause the rating to think that is was a signed negative number

I gave you a 10 and it increased .02. Only 300 more 10's and you can be respectable again. Or you could turn the useless thing off.
