Why did my Top Gear thread get locked?

I know in the past, all Torrent threads were locked. I haven't followed it lately.

It looks like it was locked because there was already a thread on Top Gear:

LOL I just noticed it at the top of OT. I didn't read it.

They just locked my old thread too where I was offering direct downloads of Top Gear episodes.

No longer will I offer file downloads here. I'm not putting up with the ridiculous and inconsistant actions of the mods anymore.
