Question Why did my neighbor's tesla, and security camera appear in my network from time to time?

But not always.

Even if I scanned my wifi network and none of them has ip address, and they are not in router's dhcp clients list.

I was able to see thier mac addresses though.

Password change (drastically different from original one) and mac address filtering did not help, even after router reboot and immediately check.

Ideas?

I can't recall the specific name of the feature but Windows does automatic device discovery and will list random Bluetooth and wifi devices that are not on LAN but within range of the PC's wifi in this way (in the network panel as if it's on LAN).

All kinds of odd stuff will show up at random.

The discovery can be disabled. Again, I just can't remember the exact name of the feature to assist with disabling it.

Could also be moca through the cable company if a POE filter (point of entry) was not put in. The moca could travel back to you, but you would see more items would be my guess.
