Did you enable Morphological filtering in CCC? For whatever reason it does that for me in some programs. I doubt we're talking about the same thing though.

CCC --> Gaming --> 3D application settings --> Uncheck "Morphological Filtering" box.

See your other thread. Its the hardware acceleration that Firefox 4 and IE use (they both use Window's new hardware accelerated 2D/3D features, which changed quite a bit starting with Vista).

For others I'll copy and paste from the other thread.

You can turn it off in the Options (Options -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing, should be a check box for it).

You can also turn off just the 2D (which seems to fix the text, but will keep the 3D hardware acceleration) by going into the config files.

There's also a tool to adjust Clear-Type, although it didn't help at all with this issue I feel, so I just disabled hardware acceleration for the time being.

I have the horrible blurry/colored text problem with Firefox only. IE9 is golden. This is due to hardware acceleration features implemented in the newer browsers or D2D writes I believe (something like that you can Google it there is a plethora of folks complaining about it).

If your using Firefox just turn it off. It's unfortunate as I'm a FF fan, but have since switched to IE9 because of this one issue. IE9 is pretty nice.
