Why Did my DSL speeds take a poop of late?

I was getting about 1200/105 from my standard plus package from SBC PacBell. But a month ago, my speeds started to fall. It would sometimes be back to normal, but i just ran dslreport speeds all day today and they are dismal. I had 500/100, then 400/100, then 300/50. Can anyone please help me as to why? I have not installed anything to affect my broadband in anyway. Thanks.
