Humm, after looking over things, I sill think you're doing OGR.:( But, since you say you aren't, I reccomend you check the log files. Make sure they show you're really cracking all the blocks you think you are, and thay they're being flushed properly. It might also help to know to where you're flushing to.

Why the heck would they switch over with no notice? This make no d@mn sense! I was doing OGR even when RC5 was first! This sucks. If they want to make this a competition they better make it fair. Phantom Flusher and sudden switches are not playing fair. Why is no-one else concerned with this? Am I over-reacting?

Miken,

Even DNet has come on the forum and admitted that the settings for controlling the way the contest picks between contests is confusing. They apologized. In the meantime, to prevent the client from switching to OGR ever, you need change OGR to read OGR=0 in the contest priority setting in the client. This tells the client to NOT to OGR, no matter what. By default, the client cycles through the cycles, one after another. This caught ALOT of people by surprise.

And as others have said before, us old-timers owe you all an apology. We've lived through this before, knew what was coming, knew pretty much how it was going to come down, and didn't do a good job of passing that information on ...

But, the upside is, now that it has happened to you, you'll definitely remember in the future ... ;)
