sigh... i swear i get stupider every year
can anyone help w/ a few of these problems?
prob 2 f(x) = x/squareroot x and g(x) = x - 3x^2
(g+f)(x), (g-f)(x), (g/f)(x), (f o g)(x), (g o f)(x)
not sure if i'm simplifying them correctly
and
prob 3
given that:
f(x) = 16x-x^2/2 - squareroot x when x is not equal to 0
k when x = 4
find the k that will make f(x) continuous at x = 4
prove that f(x) is continuous at x = 4 with the k you have chosen
