Yahoo bought Inktomi recently but they're still using Google to power the search results. I forget how long the Google contract lasts.

I use Google, because with the *right* search, you really can find anything that you're looking for.

My google skills are unprecedented really. Seriously, bow down to me....the Google Master.

I stopped when they started using pop up ads.

Since when has Google EVER had popup ads?

Sounds like you've got spy-ware on your system.

I like the Google cache, too. So, if a site is no longer in existence, the search still brings up the old page!

And Google is so much easier to type! 😀

Google also has an easy to type name, in addition to its 56k friendliness and clean, quick interface and unmatched searching giving almost always good results.

My main gripe is the way if often doesn;t bother with "of" because it's a common term.

I don't care if it is, I want it included automatically, b!tch 😛

and it's got usenet search which can be very useful to find commonly asked questions

Don't forget cached pages and easy image search....I used cached pages all the time. "Page not found" my a$$ 🙂
