Why DEI is needed in American institutions.

An internship at the White House is one of the most prestigious gigs in the country. It is a prime example why we need DEI. Look at the intern classes of Barack Obama and Donald Trump. One looks like America. The other looks like America in 1940.

Even Kevin McCarthy knows I'm right. On his way out he admitted the following
And I look over at the Democrats and they stand up. They look like America,” he told Sorkin. “We stand up. We look like the most restrictive country club in America.”

The only way a Republican White House will ever get an intern class that will look like America is to actively seek out people of color. That exactly the goal of DEI. Give every demographic an equal chance.

Not just the Trump administration. Here's one I found from GW Bush

Problem with it is that it isn't so all inclusive.

Deb Haland is an exception. There are very few in U.S. Government history who can compare.

Look up Bahsahwahbee and explain why almost no one knows about it and why the tales had to be handed down by Elders in secret, in closed rooms, behind blinds.

What?

Seriously you just spouted nothing then randomly bring up one woman (which you act like that somehow both proves your point that diversity isn't inclusive...or something? but also despite that being an instance that few in US Government history can compare, which would seemingly shit all over your point about diversity hires being not good?), then randomly mention a known (not sure how you act like its that unknown, can easily find articles about it by searching, I'm guessing its one of those you just found out about it via article and so are proclaiming no one else knew jack shit because you project your ignorance) situation that has nothing to do with the OP?

Go make your own thread for that. It actually is warranted for that situation (them trying to get that as a protected National Monument site, to help protect the area - Nevada was trying to siphon water from there to send to Las Vegas in the 2010s, possibly longer).

DEI is needed because we all have biases and the one place we shouldn’t have biases (or at least be aware of them) is in government, especially one of the people and for the people.

I think DEI education is right up there with teaching critical thinking skills. That is if goal was to be better humans.

Are you The Riddler? You might be making a legit point in there somewhere but I have no clue what it is.

Fascinating.
A downright foul character, but light years better than MAGA. He at least had the integrity to speak the truth in that regard.
MAGA would simply reply that their country club is sacred, that all other peoples must be purged for the sake of Dear Leader.

An epiphany I tell ya! The Republican nominee of choice is the owner of multiple country clubs.

We need dei because there are millions of shitty ignorant @Greenman s in this country.

I'm also really curious when will @fskimospy retract calling Greenman Smart and admit the guy's a piece of shit.
