I like Newtonian physics. It's logical. Quantum physics on the other hand has no logic. You just accept what the math tells you.

The leftward pull of cable A must balance the rightward pull of cable B and the sum of the upward pull of cable A plus cable B must balance the weight of the sign.

Agreed 100%. I was just stressed out.

I'll post back here once I get the answer and verify it with an alternate method.

THIS IS WHY I SHOULDN'T DO WORK SO LATE IN THE NIGHT. I HAD THE GOD DAMN ANSWER THE WHOLE TIME. I JUST WROTE DOWN THE WRONG ANGLE ON MY PAPER.
ASDF! I'm about to whack myself in the head. IM ABOUT TO WHACK MYSELF IN THE HEAD.

I verified it, and it's ~613N. And to get the tension from 1 rope that bends, you can think of them as 2 seperate ropes and add the tensions together.

Hmm. What sucks is I have to get up 3 hours and 15 minutes from now (carpool, so I gotta be up early). Should I even go through the hassle of sleeping? .... I think I've learned my lesson: Sleep is essential for the brain to function properly.
