Sometimes it annoys me when people can't spell simple words correctly (mainly grammar related) such as they're, or their... but bigger words are more understandable... it's weird when someone who's first language is english, can't spell the simplest things.

So by the general consensus of these posts, it would seem that we are all lazy. Lazy lazy lazy people. I can relate.

Don't give me that "I am on a PC with a spell-checker, so I don't care" B.S. ;)
I have seen countless official documents and Web sites where one could choke on errors. And it's not like I'm an English teacher! I'm a 25-year old computer geek!

I care because poor spelling hurts my ears and makes me think that people just don't care about how others see them.
I care so much that I am willing to help you poor bastards :p  :D

As-u-type - a great program for on-the-fly spell-checking in ANY Windows program.
IE spell - a nice program that performs spell-checking in Internet Explorer.
MapQuest.com - please locate a nearby bookstore and read "Spelling 101" :)

Last i check this wasn't a correct spellers forum, besides explain to me oh great one..how my bad spelling can hurt your ears? I really dont understand that. Only way i can figure it is that you read aloud everything you read and do not have the sufficient brain capacity to correct the mispellings..besides readin aloud to yourself means you have a whole diffrent set of problems.

and if you dont like the way i spell kiss my arse, a$$, az, adze. take your pick :p
