Why can't we (USA) have this phone.

With the US being the largest superpower in the world, why is it we always get the cool gadgets last, if at all?

Drool

It is, but it only comes in a size 11 light brown loafer.

At his rate, you won't be able to find a phone that only has the phone function. I'm suprised that thing doesn't come with a small flask.

Americans tend to dislike having to adjust to new technology, unlike other countries such as Japan, where buying new technology is necessary to be a good citizen.

It's not a matter of us being able to have the phone, its a matter of us wanting the phone.

Not to mention, most gadgets like cell phones are made by foreign companies, so they usual appear in their home country before migrating to the US.

I was in Japan over Christmas break, and they have some awesome phones. Many had 2.1 MP cameras and huge LCDs. Not only that, but they were dirt cheap.

Age old dicussion.
Our cellphones and cell services suck.

You must also take into account the amount of land mass a company in the US typically has to cover.

Bingo. I have no problem buying new phones when they come out. I'm a small minority.
