Why can't they make good baseball sim?

I have Triple Play 2001, which is supposed to be the best out there. And the game is nowhere near being realistic.

First of all computer doesn't ever take called strike. Anything withing strike zone, it swings and almost 95% of the time computer can make contact. And if you want to get called strike 3, well just forget about it.

Secondly, computer would never swing at ball out of the strike zone. Unless of course it has 2 strikes - then it would swing at anything.

It's virtually impossible to score from the second base on the single, outfielders got really strong throws or the baserunners are slow. Either way, it's unrealistic.

Triple Play is an arcade baseball game, that's flashy graphics and arcadeish features with little dpth and absolutely no simulation value.

The best simulation of baseball is the High Heat series, no doubt about it IMHO.
