Why cant the NBA ever be consistent with suspensions?

I honestly dont understand how the NBA evaluates how long a player gets suspended. 2 games for landing a punch on a player? I thought it would be at least 5. Zach Randolph first throws Amundson to the ground, then stands over him taunting him, then punches him when he gets up! I dont understand how he isn't suspended for a lot longer.

(Punches were thrown in this one)

3 games free pass for being on the wrong Los Angeles team

the dude makes what i make a year for one 48 minute game. and he's not even that great of a player nor is he ridiculously paid. now THAT, my friends, is sad.

🙁

Zach Randolph has issues ... and you could see them on full display yesterday. The fat bastard didn't like someone standing up to him, so he threw a punch. In real life, that puts you in jail. There was physical play sure, but nothing warranting the taunting, and subsequent punch. I'd like to see cheap shots like that punished much more severely.
