Why can't ride designers think of a roof or something over the line areas??

Thought of this yesterday when standing in line for an hour.. why cant the people who design these things think of putting a roof over peoples heads when they are standing in line.. waiting an hour for a good ride wouldnt be so bad if you had a roof over your head, but an hour in line when the afternoon sun is burning down on you kinda starts to hurt after a while.

Just a thought.. my example is Nitro at Great Adventure if anyone has been there...

I haven't been there in a while, but don't some rides have an cover for part of the line?

Why don't ride riders donate money so ride designers can put a roof or something over the line areas?

Well that $45 each person pays to enter the park pays for the park executives 3rd houses and monthly vacations..

Yeah, you'd think they would clean it all up before people have to stand there and smell it all day!

At Canada's wonderland they do at some places, the drop zone for example. But that's probably one of the fastest rides to get on. Go up, drop down at somewhat 90mph and next people go on. (making it sound like it's no big deal, but really it's not. I was not scarred at all the first time.... :D )

Because once they have your money at the gait they don't care about you anymore.
