Why is it that as soon as your remove the lines form a parking lot everyone forgets how to park?

We are re-paving our work parking lot and they haven't repainted the lines. Apparently that means everyone can just drive up and stop their car how ever the eff they want to

This happens every year here when the snow covers the lines on the parking lots. Even without lines you'll have ~3 perfectly parked cars and then suddenly some asshat with a big ass F850-SUPERCAB has to park his rumbly POS half way out in the middle of the driving lane which causes the next 7 fucksticks to follow suit.

Heh - I see a lot of people parking .9 car widths away from the nearest vehicle so they basically take up 2 spots because they can't actually park near someone without a little line on the pavement telling them where they should be

5 stars for your illustration!

It's especially frustrating when their car isn't even nice. I can kind of understand the taking up 2 spots if you don't want some asshole to door ding your new $40,000 car... but not if you're in a beater.

Disagree. Parking to take up multiple spots so nobody can park next to you is a douche move. Big time.

So tempted to park right next to the driver-side door of anyone who does this. I wouldn't ding their car, of course. Just to make 'em realize they're dumbasses.

There's a cul de sac where I pick my son up from school, you could easily fit ten cars in it, unfortunately all the self important fuckwads that are not capable of parking less than the aforementioned .9 distance from another car male it more like four.

We have a lot of big-rig drivers at my work. They can park our big-rigs into these narrow garage spots without hitting anything. In the winter, you wouldn't know it because when they park their pickups, they always like to back in. They end up all over the place which throws everyone else off.

It's a douche move, but it almost makes sense, given how fucking terrible at parking most people are, and that they'll smash doors into other cars without a care in the world. There's really no winning.

If everyone did that, the world would have 50% less parking spaces. ANARCHY, I SAY!

I use to do that when I had my older cars. Usually its a ricer that takes several spots up. So i just park right beside them. They can still get in their car but they know why I parked there. :D
