Why can't my plasma get a signal?

My cable box non-HD has two outputs... coaxial and RCA's (red, yellow, white).

My Panasonic plasma is a strange business series. It only has inputs for BNC and audio. One of the BNC connectors is labeled "video" and another set of three BNC connectors are lableed "RGB".

I have a small connector from radio shack that converted the cable boxxes coaxial into a BNC connector, and attached it to the TV's BNC video plug.

When I go through the input options, all of them have "no signal."

Input 2A
Input 2B
Input 3
and PC ZOOM

All of them say "no signal" on the screen.

The box works perfectly fine with my old CRT TV connecting the coaxial directly.

What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

That type of monitor requires 4 signals, video and rgb. Sounds like you phyically converted your cable boxes output to just plug into the 'video' signal, but you need a different kind of adapter (AFAIK)
