I've got the d-link WBR-1310.....it was on sale locally, so i picked it up, then saw reviews online that is pretty much blows, i haven't had any major issues, just hickups, may return it tonight, so any help quickly is appreciated.....maybe i set it up wrong, but i could log on through wireslss w/ my laptop after i turned on security. in fact, with my PC i couldn't even access the router page..NOTHING woud go through the network..wtf

Is your computer in the same Ip range as the router ?
Please also check your cable by switching with another one.
Did your computer used to connect to your modem then to internet thru wire ?
Also check your router firmware and google for eventual known issues that an update will solve.

Good luck

Yes, they're both on DHCP, and both work properly when i don't use WPA, so i know the cable works, since i'm on it right now(turned off WPA), firmware is the latest version......

Never heard of such an issue.

Call D-Link Support, to hear the excuse of the day :D.
