Why cant I run UT with my 6800 or TNTUltra?-only V3 2000 works!

After a recent reinstall of parts & w98se, I no longer am able to run or even load UT on either of my fast machines with an asus 6800 or the diamond tnt ultra, only on the old v3 on my BX6.
I'm running det 3's for drivers on both and they get through 3dmark okay. Is it a different driver I need or a patch. They used to run before although after 3 or 4 days they would give fatal errors.

Are you experience this problem with any other games and/or applications?

No, only UT because that's about all that runs for games. It was always finicky about drivers on the tnt's before but fine for the Voodoo. I overclock the Voodoo to 185mz right now and the cpu to 897mz and get a 3dmark score in 1024 x 768 16bit of 3350 which is the same as the tnt ultra with the 979mz celeron.

Do you have all traces of the voodoo card gone when you have the nvidia cards in? It sounds like UT is still trying to use glide.

Run UT in safe mode and set the driver to Direct 3D or OpenGL instead of Glide.

Did you do a clean install of Windows? It's usually best to do this when moving to a new video card.
