Why cant I run 3dMark 2000 v 1.1???

Hi just for kicks I downloaded 3dMark 2000 v1.1 to see what it looks like and it doesnt want to initiate. In windows task manager it is recordnized as one of the processes taking up 3780k of memory usage and 50% of cpu usage but nothing is running or showing up? Do i need to get a special patch or something?

I have p4 HT and Cat's 4.1 and Direct X9.0b so i dont know what "its" problem is

I THINK the problem is with hyperthreading. It won't run on my system either.

Have you tried to run it without hyper-threading? I am gonna try it now then...and i'll tell you if it works without it on

Ok i just tried running P4 3.2 without HT and the result is even worse my whole computer becomes the slowest thing on earth and nothing starts forcing me to reboot

I guess there is some soft of incompatibility with either Catalyst Drivers, P4 865 chipset, Direct x 9.0b, or something along these lines.

If anyone can run 3dmark 2000 v1.1 on their p4 computer please tell me how to do it.
