Why can't I post more than one paragraph?

I can't post any semblance of a lengthy post in any thread. I first noticed it in the official NHL playoffs thread.

If I type up a post that is longer than one sentence and hit reply it just sits there and slowly counts up the percentage of page loaded.

I've done this from multiple computers with different browers with the same result.

I will try to post in as many different scenarios as possible.
After waiting out the message post page, it finally came to a Page Cannot be Displayed error.

I guess I could try to count the number of lines or chars, but that might take forever.

It's your ISP then. It isn't happening here.
I'm leaning towards that. Though why would my ISP's issues only affect one forum and on that forum the number of chars I can post?

Seems odd.

i had the same problem at my parents house, turned out to be an old d-link router... replaced it and the problem went away instantly...

I have started make a copy of posts that require some effort incase an Oops happens.

5-15 minutes of effort going down the drain is very frustrating 🙁

I'll check that out.

My ISP was having system wide problems over the weekend and they were clearing it up the past couple days. I've reset everything so I'll see how it goes.

Ahhhh, the Adelphia to Roadrunner switch in the Buffalo/Western NY area? The problem even made the news; they didn't finish a few things they needed to finish before Monday and a lot of people were having major problems that they couldn't diagnose.
