WHY CANT I OVERVOLT MY A7V8X!

Yeah so i had my jumpers set to default which is no over volt on my a7v8x, i overclocked and took it up to 1.85v and decuided id take it further but when i set my jumpers to overvolt and rebooted it didnt unlock the higher voltages in my bios, why the hell wont it let me overvolt....anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure?? How are you checking the voltages???
