I just bought a computer from a friend. I set it all up to run on my network at home and it works. It's a 300 mhz celeron cpu with a 10 gig hardrive. It's got 128 meg of ram and all set up on the network. But It doesn't ask me to log on when i turn it on. It just boots up into win98. I have to log off and log back on to get it to work. i have tried all the different settings in the network controls but still i'm network less. does anyone have any ideas?

Did you go into network settings and selected the Client for Microsoft Netorks in the pull down menu as the way to log on instead of Windows Login?

Hope it works.

It should be right there when you click the network icon and there is only one pulldown menu.
