Why can't I get online after I'm idle for awhile?

This is really starting to p0$$ me off,,,I have to reboot to get back online after my pc is idle for awhile.I can go do something else ,then when I come back,I klik to go to my homepage,and it shows Page cannot be dispalyed,then i reboot and it works fin. Never sdid this before,ty
 
i dunno maybe your isp is dropping you because you were idle? but i thought modern computers "keep alive"....
